Wudarski, Edith Earnest

Edith Earnest Wudarski, 101, of Pearisburg, VA went to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 18, 2024, at Heritage Hall Rich Creek. Edith was born on December 9, 1922, in McDowell Co., WV and was a daughter of the late Gaylord Thomas Earnest, Sr. and Cora Virginia Lynch Earnest.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, George “Wade” Edwin Wudarski, 9 sisters, Bertha Etta Earnest Moody, Ada Lee Earnest Ratliff, Cora Virginia Earnest, Clara Earnest, Hazel Earnest Eaton, Dorothy Mae Earnest Holsenback, Eva Bolt Earnest Miller Litchfield, Margie Lee Earnest Sommers Bean, Shirley Ann Earnest Smith, 1 brother, Gaylord Thomas Earnest, Jr.

Edith attended for many years, Ingram Village United Methodist Church. She was a hair stylist for many years and a caretaker for her many sisters and brothers-in-law. She loved taking care of and spending time with her sisters, brother and many nieces and nephews.

She is survived by many, many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday, January 22, 2024, at 2pm at the Givens Funeral Chapel in Pearisburg with the Rev. Terri Gregory officiating with burial following in the Birchlawn Burial Park in Pearisburg. The family will receive friends at the funeral home 1 hour before the service, from 1- 2 pm.
