Weather Outlook for 7/19

Another day, another round of severe storms possible, this time concentrated to areas along/east of the Blue Ridge. A Slight Risk is in place generally along and south of US-460 into the NC Piedmont. Damaging wind gusts will once again be the threat. There is also an isolated flash flooding risk along/south of US-460, if storms train over the same location repeatedly.
More rainfall is on the way across the Mid-Atlantic region. A stalled front will bring locally heavy rainfall to eastern North Carolina. Then, the next storm system will enter the Mid-Atlantic Tuesday and Wednesday and bring the potential for additional flash flooding.
