Weather Outlook 8/18

The flash flooding threat for later this week is increasing. A stalled frontal boundary will sit along the East Coast, keeping unsettled weather in place for Thursday and especially on Friday. High rainfall rates will allow storms to produce heavy rainfall very quickly, which could produce localized flash flooding, especially in areas where storms move over the same areas repeatedly.
