Volunteer Montgomery Chili Cook-off
Volunteer Montgomery is excited to announce that we are holding our first Chili Cook-Off fundraiser and we would like to invite you to participate!
This is going to be a fun-filled event open to the public, where your chili will be judged amongst other participating organizations and restaurants for the chance to take home an award, and the ultimate bragging rights! This event will be held on October 19th, 2024, at 10a.m., at the Montgomery County Government Center. Registration is $10 and is open until September 1st.
We also encourage you to challenge other organizations, individuals, and restaurants you’d like to see participate, or compete against, to see who can make the best chili and take home an award!
How It Works:
1. Register for the Chili Cook-Off
a. Registration is $10, and closes on September 1st

c. Or in-person at Volunteer Montgomery (210 S. Pepper St., Suite D, Christiansburg, VA 24073)
2. Make your best delicious chili
3. Bring it to the competition in a crockpot (tables and other set-up materials will be provided)

4. Enjoy the event (and friendly competition), show off your culinary skills, promote your organization, and hopefully take home an award!

• Time: Event starts at 10 a.m., participants should plan to arrive 15-20 minutes early
