Treadway, Earl Clinton
Earl Clinton “Clint” Treadway, age 80 of Pulaski passed away Monday, June 1, 2026 at the Roanoke Memorial Hospital. Born August 12, 1945 in Oak Hill, West Virginia to the late William Clinton Treadway & Earline Love Treadway. He was also preceded in death by his sister Patricia Meadows.
Clint was known for his love of the outdoors. In his younger years he was always hunting, fishing, or camping. In his later years he really enjoyed traveling with his wife Jennie. They explored different states like Mississippi and Las Vegas trying out the casinos. They eventually switched to cruising and would frequent some of the largest ships in the world through Royal Caribbean.
When at home, you would have to search for him somewhere on his farm, out on the tractor or six-wheeler, mowing or hauling something. More recently, he could often be found sitting in his chair just inside his shop door. He was happiest outside than anywhere else, even if it was just sitting there enjoying not being inside. He never met a stranger and enjoyed telling stories of his adventures and his family to anyone that stopped to listen. His family will enjoy telling his stories for years to come.
He was a backyard corn hole champ, a self-taught taxidermist, an expert marksman, a farmer, a classic car enthusiast, a carpenter, not the greatest plumber (but who is), a mechanic, He could listen and offer advice like a professional.
He texted his son just weeks ago to say, “I can’t think of too many things I haven’t done and I won’t worry about the rest.”
Clint is survived by his
