Thomas, Ila Phillips

Ila Phillips Thomas, 90 of Floyd, went to meet her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday, September 5, 2025. She is preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Andrew J. Thomas, Jr.; parents, Mont & Cora Phillips; and siblings, Rex Phillips, Clint Phillips, Cecil Phillips, Connie Ousley, Violetta Quesenberry, Lucille Weeks, Mae Spicer, and Alma Ratliff.

She is survived by her son & daughter-in-law, Michael Andrew & Lydia Thomas; daughter & son-in-law, Rebecca Thomas & Joe Guyer; special great-grandson, Dalton Thomas; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 9, 2025 in the Jacksonville Cemetery with Pastor Allen Agee officiating.
