Surveyors examining College Street drainage alternatives

As part of the study to analyze improvement alternatives to the storm water drainage in the College Street drainage basin, the Town’s consulting engineer will have surveyors throughout the College Street area to collect data on existing storm water structures, pipes and ditches. The surveyor is scheduled to begin working the week of Dec. 14. You may see personnel along the street and in back yards along College Street, collecting survey data.

As part of the study, public input will be collected in addition to the information that was already provided to staff. Please check www.christiansburg.org/collegestreet for updated information and a notification of public input in the upcoming weeks.
