Stuart, Melissa Lyons 2Melissa Ann Lyons Stuart, age 60 of Pulaski passed away Friday, July 10, 2026 at the Roanoke Memorial Hospital. Born December 24, 1965 in Radford, she was the daughter of the late James Edison Lyons, Sr. & Evelyn Hutchison Lyons. She was also preceded in death by her nephew Daniel H. Moore and niece Angela M. Moore.

Melissa was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and a precious sister who her family always loved and looked out for her. She had a heart of gold and dearly missed her mother and father after their recent passing.

Melissa is survived by her

Husband of 40 years – Richard Duane Stuart, Jr. – Pulaski

Son – Ricky (Kayla) Stuart – Draper

Special Grandson – Riley Stuart

Siblings – Wanda Sue (Jackie W.) Moore, Sr. – Pulaski, James Edison (Polly) Lyons, Jr. – Moneta, Terry (Martha E.) Lyons – Riner

Special Niece – Caitie Ward

Many other nieces, nephews and cousins

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM – Wednesday, July 15, 2026 at the Bower Funeral Home-Chapel, Pulaski with Rev. Joey Lyons officiating. Interment will follow at the Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin.

The family will receive friends one hour before service time Wednesday at the Funeral Home.
