Steele, Reva S.

Jesus came to get Reva S. Steele, 98, of Riner, VA to take her home on Thursday, April 23, 2026. She was preceded in death by her parents, Rob and Perna Wade Semones, her husband, John E. “June” Steele, her nephew, Harless Duncan, and her best friend, Patsy Day.

She is survived by her son, Phillip Steele and daughter-in-law, Nancy Steele; grandchildren, Amber (Christian) Kerns, Camille Steele, and Jimmy (Rosetta) Steele; great grandchildren, Olivia, Ian, Sawyer, and Evelyn Kerns; and a host of other family and friends.

Reva worked as a seamstress and waitress in the New River Valley and had fond memories of flea marketing with her husband June.

The family wishes to thank Hugh Bowman and the staff of Heritage House for their excellent and caring attention.

A graveside service will be conducted at 1:00 on Tuesday, April 28, 2006 in the Mausoleum at Roselawn Memorial Gardens and those wishing to visit with family may do so after 12:00.
