Shooting victim succumbs to injuries

UPDATE: On Saturday, May 25th, the shooting victim from Pulaski succumbed to his injuries. He was identified as 40 year-old Howard Laron Love, formerly of Michigan. A person of interest has been determined and the investigation is ongoing.

A Pulaski man is in critical condition after a shooting at a gas station in Pulaski. Pulaski Police responded to the Speedway station at 640 E. Main Street on Friday, May 24, at 2:45 a.m. after a report of a shooting involving two males.

One male was transported to Lewis Gale Pulaski Hospital with a single gunshot wound, according to police, but the other male left the scene.

Police say there is no danger to the public and no further information to release on this incident.
