Sherman, Oscar Butch
Oscar “Butch” O. Sherman, Jr. age, 73, of Riner died, Wednesday August 27, 2025 at his home. He was born on September 9, 1951 to the late Oscar O. Sr. and Dorothy Smith Sherman. He was preceded in death by his sister, Carolyn Eddie Sherman.
He is survived by his special companion, Marge Fluke, sister, Andrea Sherman, brothers, Clarence (Corelise) Sherman, Grant Sherman, Brent Sherman, daughters, Tamika Sherman, Jamese Martin, Kristen (Alonzo) Robinson, son, Eric Sherman, several grandchildren, special aunt, Cornelia (Timy) Morris, host of aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Per Butch’s requests please wear jeans and cowboy boots. Graveside service will be conducted Friday, September 5, 2025 at 11:00 am in the Wake Forest Cemetery, McCoy, Va. with Elder Jessie Eaves and Rev. Hiawatha Spraggins officiating.
