Shelor, Mary Burton

Mary “Pete” Louise Burton Shelor, 84, of Pulaski, passed away on Tuesday, October 20, 2026. She was preceded in death by her parents, Morris Wooling and Anna Harriman Burton; her beloved husband, Edward “Dobie” Eugene Shelor; brother, Roger Burton; and her sisters, Dorothy Akers and Betty Jo Proffit.

Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Gina and Rick Patton, and Kelli and Joe Russell; grandchildren, Kristopher Shelor-Bourne (Jennifer), Sarah Barber (Landon), and Emily Russell; great grandchildren, Kayla Jones (Robby) and Ali Hodge (Preston); great great-grandchildren, Millie and Kora; and many other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends from 11 until 12 p.m. on Friday, October 23, 2026, at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford. Funeral services will begin at 12 p.m. with Rev. Johnny Howlett officiating. Interment will follow in Highland Memory Gardens in Dublin.
