Rogers, Rosamond Whitten
Rosamond Whitten Rogers, 95, passed away Friday, September 12, 2025, at her home in Radford. She was a former nurse at UVA Medical Center and a member of Central Church Radford.
She was a wonderful mother, and grandmother, and enjoyed keeping the economy going by shopping with her daughter-in-law. She was proud to be on the All State Basketball Team at Radford High School and was a wonderful artist.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Ollie Radcliffe; husband, James William Rogers; and siblings, Jim Ratcliffe, Bill Ratcliffe, Dorothy McDonald, Betty Farmer, and Josephine Simpson.
Survivors include her sons, Gary Gray (Diane) and Bruse Gray; grandchildren, Rosamond Cope and Richard Gray; and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be private.
