Road Work on Peppers Ferry Road

A contractor will be conducting primary paving operations on westbound Peppers Ferry Road, from the Marshall Avenue intersection to a point between Quin W. Stuart Boulevard and Majestic Drive (UPC 126128) beginning Tuesday, May 19 at 8 p.m.

Work will take place overnight from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m., Monday through Friday. No work is scheduled during Memorial Day weekend. Overnight paving operations will resume at 8 p.m. Monday, May 25, and are expected to continue through June 15.

Motorists should expect shoulder closures, intermittent lane closures and temporary traffic detours throughout the project area. Flaggers, workers and construction equipment will be present in work zones.

Drivers are encouraged to use alternate routes when possible, reduce speed in construction areas and follow all posted signs and flagger instructions.
