Quesenberry, Alma Smith

Alma Elizabeth Quesenberry, age 88, of Blacksburg, died, Sunday, August 20, 2023, at her home. She was born in Montgomery County, VA on December 22, 1934, to the late Thomas Carl and Aline Surface Smith. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Orie Lee Quesenberry; daughter, Dawn Davis; sisters, Odell McMahan and Etta Faye Shelor.

She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Marlene and Gary Kytchen, Linda and Jeff Corker, Martha Hodges, Tracy and Art Carter, Karen Elmore, Marcie and Larry Davis, Dicy and Jonathan Howell, Emily and Ken Drewry; son and daughter-in-law, Orie Lee and Debra Quesenberry; 22 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters and brothers-in-law; 5 brothers and sisters-in-law.

A private service will be held. The family will receive friends from 4-6 p.m. on Friday, August 25, 2023, at McCoy Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.
