Perdue, Glenn Carlton

Glenn Carlton Perdue, age 87, of Christiansburg, died, Sunday, January 11, 2026. He was born in Montgomery County, VA on February 5, 1938, to the late Houston “Shorty” Thomas and Margie Morehead Perdue. He was also preceded in death by his son, Gary Perdue; four brothers, Raymond, Gayle, Bernard “Bunny”, and Clyde Perdue.

He is survived by his wife, Frances L. Perdue; sisters and brother-in-law, Margaret Roark, Hattie Sue and David Dove; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Jake and Madeline Frazier; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Linda and Lonnie Vaden, Carolyn and Russell “Butch” Alls; special nephew, Todd Alls; as well as numerous other nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 19, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Neal Turner officiating. Interment will follow at North Fork Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-6 p.m. on Sunday, January 18, 2026, at McCoy Funeral Home.
