NRV Intellectual Disabilities Agency Golf Tournament

Intellectual Disabilities Agency of the NRV (IDA) is hosting its annual golf tournament on Monday, August 16th at Blacksburg Country Club. We are recruiting teams and sponsors to help make this fundraiser a success. IDA is funded solely by the community, and this is one of our main fundraisers.

If you are a golfer, join us for an enjoyable and fun day on the links. Lunch will be provided prior to the one p.m. shotgun start. Cost is $300 a team, or $75 for an individual.

We are also requesting tee sponsors, starting at $50. Sponsorships will be advertised on the course and to all the golfers.

IDA is a unique local agency that provides a variety of social, recreational, and educational activities for children and adults with intellectual disabilities that live in the New River Valley. Our clients participate in programs such as bowling, craft classes, dances, and cooking classes along with volunteer community members. We also provide limited transportation for clients. These programs also serve as respite for family members to give them a break.
