New Year Closures

Blacksburg: Friday, December 31
All Town of Blacksburg administrative offices are closed.
The Blacksburg Community Center is closed.
The Blacksburg Aquatic Center is open from 5:30 am -12 pm.

Saturday, January 1
The Blacksburg Community Center is closed.
The Blacksburg Aquatic Center is open from 9:00 am – 12 pm.
There is no Blacksburg Transit service.

Christiansburg
In observance of the New Year, Town Hall will be closed on Friday, Dec. 31.
The Aquatic Center will be closed Friday, Dec. 31, and Saturday, Jan. 1.
The Recreation Center will be open on Friday, Dec. 31, but administrative offices will be closed. The facility will be closed Saturday, Jan. 1.
Solid waste normally scheduled for Fridays will be collected Thursday, Dec. 30, along with Thursday’s regular collection.

Radford: City Offices will be closed on Friday, December 31, 2021 for New Year’s Eve. The sanitation collection schedule is as follows:
Solid Waste Collection:
Friday, December 31, 2021: Collected on Monday, January 3, 2022.
*Please have garbage ready for collection by 7:30 a.m.
