Nester, Mary Spangler

Mary W. Spangler Nester, 91 of Floyd, passed away on Thursday, October 15, 2026. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, W.T. and Shirley Wilson; husband, Paul Spangler; husband, Andrew Nester; sister and brother-in-law, Marie and Jessie Bolt; brother, James Wilson; sister, Bonnie Wilson; brother-in-law, Bill Harter; son-in-law, Timothy Reynolds.

Survived by son, Eldon Spangler (Kim); daughter, Ann Reynolds; grandchildren, Logan Reynolds, Nicole Gunn (Bradley); six great grandchildren; brother, Percy Wilson (Phyllis); sisters, Ruby Harter and Beulah Correll (Clyde); sister-in-law, Scottie Wilson; many nieces and nephews.

She was a devoted Church member of Beaver Creek Church of the Brethren now Beaver Creek Covenant Church. She loved her church family so much. Funeral service will be held on Monday, October 19, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at Beaver Creek Covenant Church with Pastor Marvin Wade and Pastor Richard Thomas officiating. Interment will follow in Beaver Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral service held at Beaver Creek Covenant Church.
