Motorcycle accident in Elliston

Shortly after 10am today, Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, Montgomery County Fire and Rescue, and Elliston Fire Dept. responded to a motor vehicle crash involving a motorcycle in the 8800 block of Roanoke Rd. in Elliston Va.

The motorcycle being operated by a 74 year old female from Salem Va., lost control and crossed the median colliding with the guardrail on the opposite side of the road while traveling East toward Roanoke.

The female sustained serious injuries and was transported to Roanoke Memorial Hospital via Life Guard 11.
