Our loss is Heaven’s gain. Melville “Sonny” Moser, 78, of Radford, passed away on Friday, March 14, 2025. He was preceded in death by his parents, Peyton and Dorothy Vaught Moser; brother, Richard Moser and brother-in-law, Earl Poff.

He is survived by his son, Arron Moser and his wife Angel, and and two grand children, Justin and Kamryn; brother, Roger Moser; sister Gail Poff; grandchildren, Sierra, Brandon, Jaelyn, Serenity, and Levi; and many nephews, nieces and friends including Cynthia Moser.

Special thanks to Lewis Gale Cancer Center and Highland Ridge Rehab for the care extended to Sonny during his treatment and stay.

A graveside service with full military honors will be held on Monday, March 17, 2025, at 11 A.M. at the Southwest Virginia Veterans Cemetery, 5550 Bagging Plant Road, Dublin, Va. 24084, with Pastor Leon Alley officiating.

Attendees should feel comfortable wearing jeans if you prefer.
