Morris, Mildred Journell

Mildred E. Morris, age 88 departed this life May 9, 2024 in the care of Autumn Lake at Riverview in Edgemere, Maryland. Born June 3, 1935 in Virginia she was a daughter of the late Buford Journell and Minnie Pruitt Journell.

Mildred was the beloved wife of the late John H. Morris, Jr.; devoted mother of Marlene D. Walters and her husband the late Kevin Bentz, Lisa M. Dodge and her husband Martin and the late Randy W. Morris; loving grandmother of Tricia Kidwell, Ashley Bentz, Amanda Couture, Jordan Dodge and Brooke Dodge; cherished great grandmother of Jaxon Gunther and Magnolia Bentz; dear sister of Vickie McCroskey and Carole Atkins.

There will be a time of visitation with friends on Wednesday, May 15, 2024 from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM at Kendall Funeral Home. A funeral service will be conducted on Wednesday, May 15, 2024 at 12:00 PM in the Kendall Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will conclude in Birchlawn Burial Park in Pearisburg, Virginia where she will be laid to rest.
