Miller, Linda Roberts

Linda Gale Miller, age 70 of Christiansburg, passed away on Friday, July 7, 2023. She was preceded in death by her former husband, William Leon Miller, Jr.; mother, Glayda June “Ruby” Roberts; father, William Franklin “Billy” Roberts; and sister, Hazel Ann Roberts Peters.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Tiffany Nicole and Timothy Andrew Bishop; granddaughters, Eleanor Ruth and Emelia Reese Bishop; brother, Ronnie Clyde Roberts; cousin, Diane Holstein and aunt, Betty Bias.

Linda grew up in Turtle Creek, West Virginia (Boone County). Later she moved to Alum Creek West Virginia in Kanawha County. There she worked at the Big Bear Supermarket bakery for many years. Then she worked at Walmart as a cashier. In 2010, Linda moved to Montgomery County Virginia to be closer to her daughter and grandchildren. She continued working until her retirement in 2017. She attended Auburn Baptist Church in Riner, Virginia. Linda greatly enjoyed spending time with her granddaughters and attending their special events.

Memorial services will be conducted at Horne Funeral Chapel, 4:00 p.m. Sunday, July 16, 2023 with Pastor Mike Vest officiating. Her family will receive friends from 3:00-4:00 p.m. Sunday at Horne Funeral Home.

The family will also hold a Memorial Service at Olive Branch Baptist Church in Turtle Creek, West Virginia at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, July 22, 2023. With officiant Kim Miller.
