Meredith, Tony Leon

Tony Leon “Tooter” Meredith, 62 of Pearisburg, VA departed this life February 2, 2023 in the care of Carilion Giles Community Hospital. Born in Montgomery County on August 6, 1960, he was a son of Joyce Ann Radford Meredith and JC Meredith.

Tooter enjoyed working, racing, camping, and listening to music.

He is preceded in death by his father, JC Meredith.

Left to cherish his memory to their hearts are his mother, Joyce Ann Meredith; son, Dustin Meredith; step-daughter, Brook Keaton of Chesapeake, VA; stepgrandson, Finn Richard Keaton; brothers, Johnny Meredith (Kathy) of Poplar Hill, “Pep” Meredith of Pembroke, and Melvin Meredith (Joan) of Blacksburg; sisters, Debbie Early (Sherman) of Pearisburg; special friends, Robert Warner, Charles Shannon, and Martin Brugh; special caregiver, Ean Arnold; and several nieces, nephews, and coworkers.

There will be a funeral service conducted on Monday, February 6, 2023 at 2:00 PM in the Kendall Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Eddie Kendall officiating. Funeral services will conclude at Birchlawn Burial Park. Family will receive friends at the Kendall Funeral Home Chapel on Sunday, February 5, 2023 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM.
