Memorial Day Closings: May 26

Memorial Day is Monday, May 26 and the following operating schedules will be in place:

Blacksburg
Town Offices
Town administrative offices will be closed.

Blacksburg Transit
There will be no BT service and BT offices will be closed.

Parks and Recreation
Blacksburg Community Center and Aquatic Center will be closed.

Christiansburg
Town of Christiansburg facilities, including the Aquatic and Recreation Centers, will be closed on Monday, May 26.

Solid waste and recycling normally collected on Mondays will be collected on Tuesday, May 27, along with Tuesday’s regular collection.

Radford
Solid Waste Collection:

Friday, May 23: Collected on Thursday, May 22

Monday, May 26: Collected on Tuesday, May 27

*Please have garbage ready for collection by 7:30 a.m.

Drop Center:

Friday, May 23: Closed

Saturday, May 24: Open

Monday, May 26: Closed

Tuesday, May 27: Reopen Regular Hours
