Memorial Day Closings

Blacksburg: Memorial Day is Monday, May 25 and the following operating schedules will be in place:

Town Offices: Town administrative offices will be closed.

Blacksburg Transit: There will be no BT service and BT offices will be closed.

Parks and Recreation: Blacksburg Community Center and Aquatic Center will be closed.

No Trash Pickup: Trash pickup in the SE quadrant is rescheduled for Wednesday, May 27. Please have all trash at the curb by 7am.

Christiansburg: Town of Christiansburg facilities, including the Aquatic and Recreation Centers, will be closed on Monday, May 25.

Solid waste and recycling normally collected on Monday’s will be collected on Tuesday, May 26, along with Tuesday’s regular collection.
