Meadows, Vicki Thornhill

Vicki Thornhill Meadows passed away peacefully in her sleep on October 14, 2026. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jeffrey Meadows, and by her parents, Marvin Ray and Dorothy Thornhill.

Vicki is survived by her daughter, Amanda Lawson; her son-in-law, Daniel Lawson; her granddaughter, Delaney Phillips; and her grandson, Jonah Lawson. Also left to cherish her memory are Doris Tilley, Robyn and Connor Duncan, and good friend Brenda Dowdy.

Vicki was the best mother and the best Gigi her family could have ever asked for. She was kind, always put her family first, and loved loudly and unconditionally. She gave the best advice, the best hugs, and hosted the best sleepovers every Friday night with her grandchildren. She loved playing bingo, watching her favorite television shows, and spending time with her friends and family. Most of all, she loved spoiling her grandchildren, who were the light of her life. It was an honor to know her and to have loved her, and the world is a smaller place without her in it.

The family will receive friends at a time of visitation on Sunday, October 18, 2026 from 5:00 PM until 6:00 PM in Kendall Funeral Home. A funeral service will be conducted on Sunday, October 18, 2026 at 6:00 PM in Kendall Funeral Home with Dr. Dan Lawson officiating. A private family burial will later take place where she will be laid to rest at Birchlawn Burial Park.
