Manthe, Patricia Jaggers

Patricia Jaggers Manthe lost her battle with endometrial cancer on June 13, 2023. She joins her parents, Al and Betty Jaggers and her brother Tim, in eternity.

Patty grew up Vienna and graduated from James Madison High School in 1973. She also graduated from The University of Mary Washington and American University. Patty also lived in Arlington, Oakton, and most recently in Powhatan, Virginia. Patty worked as a Program Auditor for the General Accounting Office in Washington, D.C. She served as the Republican Party Chairman of the 9th district was President of the local chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution.

She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Bruce, their son, Jeff and his wife Jessica, and their son Jameson, of Austin, TX; and their son Mark, his wife Eva and their daughter Mary Louise of Charlottesville.

Mark graduated from Blacksburg High School in 2009 and played baseball for coach, Jim Shockley. She was loved by many and will be missed.

The family will receive friends from 10 to 11:45 a.m. on Saturday, June 17, 2023 at Manakin Episcopal Church, 985 Huguenot Trail, Powhatan, VA, where her funeral ceremony will follow at 12 Noon. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
