Little, Charleen Jernigan

Charleen Elizabeth Little, age 74, of Blacksburg, died, Sunday, May 19, 2024. She was born in Soddy-Daisy, TN on November 19, 1949, to the late Mr. and Mrs. Emma Jernigan. She is also preceded in death by her sister, Jeannette Broom.

She enjoyed her vocation as a tax accountant and her many years at Altice Tax. She was also a longtime volunteer at Floyd County Public Schools and an avid member of the PTA.

She is survived by her husband, John Little; daughter, Katherine Barkley (Jeff Caldwell); grandchildren, James Barkley, Daniel Barkley, Chelesa Barkley, and Christan Caldwell; many other nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 24, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with Minister J.B. Beane officiating. The family will receive friends from 12-1:00 p.m. prior to the service.
