Labor Day Closings

Blacksburg: The Town of Blacksburg will operate on the following schedule on Monday, September 1:

Town Offices
Town administrative offices will be closed.

Blacksburg Transit
Blacksburg Transit will operate on Intermediate Service and BT offices will be closed.

Community Center
The Blacksburg Community Center will be closed.

Aquatic Center
The Blacksburg Aquatic Center will be closed.

Trash Collection
There will be no trash pickup in the SE Quadrant. Makeup service will be Wednesday, September 3. Please have all materials at the curb by 7am.

Christiansburg: In observance of Labor Day, Town facilities, including the Aquatic Center and Recreation Center, will be closed Monday, September 1.

Solid waste normally collected on Mondays will be collected Tuesday, September 2, along with Tuesday’s regular collection.

Radford: We would like to wish everyone a safe and Happy Labor Day! The Radford Recreation Center & Radford Senior Center will be CLOSED ALL DAY on Monday, Sept 1, 2025 in observance of Labor Day.
