Keith, Larry Douglas

Larry Douglas Keith of Floyd Virginia passed away peacefully September 4th 2026. He is preceded in death his parents, Elmer and Delphina Alderman Keith; and brother, Howard Keith.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years Susan Lovitt Keith. He is also survived by his children Amanda Louise Keith and partner Justin William Scruggs, Albert Wayne Keith and wife Sarah Howell Keith. Grandchildren Serena Michelle Keith, Miya Louise Keith, and Maximus Wayne Keith. Also survived by his sister Lisa Faye Keith.

Larry Douglas Keith was a loving and devoted husband and father. He was a kind and uplifting spirit to all who had the pleasure of knowing him. His longtime friendship with Scott Lovitt where they both share their love of collecting HO scale Model trains sent them on many adventures to railyards across the region.

He also enjoyed supporting the Chicago Bears Football team, cheering them every weekend in the fall. He worked at Fabric Cutters in Floyd Virginia and Haynes in Woolwine Virginia.

He will be greatly missed by friends and family.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 8, 2026 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the Maberry Funeral Home Chapel.
