Johnson, Daniel Wayne

Daniel “Danny” Wayne Johnson, Sr. 77, of Narrows, VA. went to be with the Lord on July 3, 2026. Danny was born on August 20, 1948, in Pearisburg, Va., and was a son of the late Joe Ben Johnson and Evelyn Kellison Johnson. Beside his parents, he was preceded in death by 4 sisters, Nancy, Barbara, Pam & Suzette.

Danny was a faithful servant of our Lord and Savior and a beloved member of Angels Rest Fellowship. His kind heart, steady faith, and quiet strength touched the lives of many. He lived his life with love, purpose, and devotion to God, and his family, and his church. Danny’s faith was deeply rooted, and his church family meant the world to him. His Pastor Craig was not only his pastor, but also a true friend who was so special in Danny’s faith and friendship.

He is survived by his 2 sons, Daniel Wayne Johnson, Jr., Marc Johnson, grandchildren, Jordan Johnson, Seth Johnson, Senya Johnson, 2 sisters, Toni Mullins (Donald), Jacqueline Willis (Johnnie), numerous nieces and nephews and a wonderful and special friend, Tony Gautier, whose friendship and support meant so much

A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 18, 2026, at 2pm, at the Angels Rest Fellowship, 1601 Wenonah Ave. Pearisburg, VA,
