Hylton, Elizabeth Asbury

Elizabeth Afton Asbury Hylton, 92 of Riner, passed away Tuesday, November 22, 2022. She was preceded in death by her husband, Maurice C. Hylton on November 20, 2013.

Elizabeth and Maurice are survived by their children, Richard M. Hylton, Kenneth R. Hylton; as well as a host of other family and friends.
They both had been employed at the Radford Army Ammunitions Plant where they met. They owned and operated her family farm, Fairview Farm in Riner, raising Angus cattle. In addition to raising cattle, they raised vegetable gardens and Border Collies. Other than working on the farm, they enjoyed riding his Harley on a Sunday afternoons, visiting extended family in Floyd County.

A Funeral Service to celebrate their lives will be conducted on Monday, November 28, 2022, at 2 p.m. at Horne Funeral Home. Interment to follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. An Army military rites for Maurice will be conducted at the graveside.
