Harvey, Frank Burnett
Frank Burnett Harvey, 92 of Elliston, passed away on February 20, 2023. He was preceded in death by his parents, Loren Ward Harvey and Frances Mabel Harvey; and son, Larry Harvey.
Frank is survived by his wife of 67 years, Joan Siler Harvey; children, Shannon Graham and husband Michael, Karen Strickler and husband C.G.; daughter-in-law, Melanie Harvey; grandchildren, Stephen Graham, Jonathan Graham, Jacob Graham, Katherine Morrison, Dylan Strickler, Amber Sledd, Larren ‘Drew’ Harvey; and 11 great-grandchildren. He will also be missed by his siblings, Douglas Harvey, Ethel Harvey, Mack Harvey, Wayne Harvey, Betty Crawford; many nieces and nephews; as well as special friends, Steve McDaniel, Chelsea Tolbert, Roger Nester, Roger Dallas, David Wright, Andy Hubard and many more.
Frank was an active member of Open Door Baptist Church and loved his church family.
Visitation is Friday, February 24, 2023, from 6-8 p.m. at Horne Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2023, at 11 a.m. at Open Door Baptist Church, with Pastor Mike Johnston officiating. Interment will follow in the Harvey Family Cemetery, Elliston.

I knew frank from open door baptist. I had a bad drinking problem at the time. but his theory was that if a man would give his heart totally to god that he wouldn’t think about drinking I appreciated that. my prayers. go to the family. marshall church

Frank was a person the world needs more of . Hard working and honest a man you’d ever want to meet. He will be missed by all .
