Harmon, Dixie Sowers

Dixie Myrtle Harmon, age 93 passed away Tuesday, October 3, 2023 in the Pulaski Rehab Center. Born November 19, 1929 in Radford, she was the daughter of the late Frank & Inez Cox Sowers. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Linda Bennett and brother, Franki Sowers.

Dixie is survived by her

Children – Patsy (Dean) Lewerke – Iowa Falls, Iowa, Doris (Philip) Akers – Dugspur, Sherry (Jerry) Selleck – Dublin, Russell Shelburne – Virginia Beach, Sandy Howell – Radford

Grandchildren – Dena, Ann, Jamie (Brian), Brandie, Kaylee and Krista

Brother – Joe Sowers – Christiansburg

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM – Friday, October 13, 2023 at the Bower Funeral Home-Chapel, Pulaski with Pastor Jim Holt officiating. Interment will follow at the Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin. The family will receive friends Friday one hour before service time at the Bower Funeral Home.
