Glencoe Mansion: 3 Weekends of Local Holiday Shopping
Glencoe Mansion, Museum & Gallery is excited to announce three weekends of shopping and holiday cheer in conjunction with The Radford Farmers’ Market and MountainTrotter Arts. From November 26th through December 10th, there will be wonderful opportunities to support local businesses, artisans, and crafters, explore Glencoe Mansion, and view beautiful works of art.
On November 26th Glencoe Mansion will celebrate Small Business Saturday, featuring great gift ideas from local artisans and authors, Radford souvenirs, and more. The Glencoe Gift shop will be open from 10AM to 4PM to allow plenty of time to get a kick start on holiday shopping. Additionally, Yvonne Alderman’s show “Visions in Mixed Media and Wood” will be opening that day with a reception from 11AM to 1PM.
The following Saturday, December 3rd, The Holiday Farmers’ Market will take place in the field adjacent to Glencoe Mansion from 11AM to 3PM. The Holiday Farmers’ Market will feature gift items from farmers, crafters, and artisans and will also have pictures with Santa. The food truck Bluegrass BBQ will be set up. Visitors can find the market in this location for their usual season; every Saturday, 9AM to 1PM, April to October. The museum will be open from 10AM to 4PM.
Concluding the three weekends of great shopping will be the Handcrafted Holiday Pop-up Market, hosted by MountainTrotter Arts. The Handcrafted Holiday Pop-Up Market will feature local artisans, crafters, and more from 11AM to 3:30PM. The food truck Empanada Nirvana will be onsite as well. Santa will be available to take pictures on the beautiful porch of Glencoe Mansion. Visitors can also enjoy Glencoe Mansion’s Holiday Open House from 10AM to 4PM. The rain date of the Handcrafted Holiday Pop-up market would be December 11th.
All three weekends of activities are open to all, family friendly, and free to attend.
