Francis, Evelyn Hylton

Evelyn L. Francis, age 87, passed away on Friday, August 2, 2024, at the Lindside Healthcare Center in Lindside, WV. Born February 12, 1937, in Peterstown, she was the daughter of the late Grayden and Ruby Young Hylton.

Evelyn was a member of the Peterstown Missionary Baptist Church. She retired from the sewing factory and spent her later years as a homemaker.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles William “Bill” Francis; and daughter, Sheri Ann Hudson. Those left to cherish her memory include her granddaughter, Savannah Gravely and husband Chris of Peterstown, WV; one sister, Doris Boothe and husband David of Aiken, SC; and her loving and devoted son-in-law, Thomas Hudson of Christiansburg, VA.
