Duncan, Gwenda Dobbins

Gwenda Gay Dobbins Duncan, 81, passed away Thursday, July 9, 2026, at her home in Radford. She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy Hampton and Mary Francis Neal Dobbins; husband, Charles Alfred Duncan; and her twin sister, Melinda Underwood.

She is survived by her brothers, Roy D. Dobbins and Larry H. Dobbins; nephews, Jason Underwood (Jenni), Doug Underwood (Donna), Kevin Underwood (Emma), David Dobbins and Dennis Dobbins; nieces, Tracy Webb (Dwayne) and Linda King (Frank); many great nieces and great nephews, and great great nieces and great great nephews; and dearest friend, Betty Bisell.

A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, in West View Cemetery in Radford.

In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Basset Rescue of Old Dominion in Charlottesville, VA (brood-va.org/), as everyone knew Gwenda loved her Basset Hounds.
