Den Hill Road Crash

Shortly after 0700 hours on today’s date, Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, Blacksburg Fire and Rescue Dept. responded to a motor vehicle crash with entrapment involving a black Nissan Rogue driven by Linda Early and a red Chevrolet pickup truck driven by Lucas Waldron on Den Hill Rd. at the entrance to Valley Landscaping.

A passenger and driver in the Nissan were entrapped but removed, while a third passenger by the name of Robert Early that was seated in the rear passenger area was pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver of the pickup sustained minor injuries and was transported along with the occupants of the Nissan to Lewis Gale Hospital in Montgomery county.

The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office’s crash investigation team with assistance from Christiansburg Police Dept. was called to the scene and the roadway remains closed until the investigation is complete.
