Custer, Glenda Wheeling
Glenda Gail Custer, 64, of Christiansburg, Va., went to be with the Lord on February 7, 2024. She is preceded in death by her parents, Buford and Barbara Wheeling; brother-in-law, Lindsey Akers; nephew, JP Fisher; granny, Margaret Blount; grandma, Macie Wheeling; and great aunt, Mary Blount.
Left to cherish her memory are, her husband of 37 years, Darrell Custer; son and daughter-in-law, Jonathan and Ashley Custer; daughter and son-in-law, Jamie and Correy Hazzard; grandchildren, Lilah, Kenslee, Scarlett, and Tucker; sisters, Linda Kinzer, Brenda Fisher and Vicki Akers; nieces, nephews, many special friends, and church family.
She was a member at Walton P.H. Church for over 30 years and loved the Lord with all her heart. She always let people see Jesus through her and was the best example for her family and friends. She loved everyone. (Bless Their Hearts)
The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 11, 2024, from 2:00- 5:00 P.M. at Walton Pentecostal Holiness Church, 4003 Morning Glory Rd. Radford VA., 24141 Funeral services will be conducted Monday, February 12, 2024, at 2:00 P.M. at Walton Pentecostal Holiness Church, with the Pastors Lee Sarver, Nathan Phillips, Jerry Shepherd, Wayne Poston, and Kevin Poston officiating. Interment will follow in the Roselawn Memorial Gardens.

Darrell and family, I’m so sorry for your loss. Gail was one of the sweetest ladies I’ve ever known and was a dedicated servant of our Lord and Savior. Prayers for peace and comfort for each of you.

I went to High School with Gail and thought she was one of the kindest people I have ever met. We used to laugh about PE class how we did not like it because neither one of us was into athletics. Gail was a good Christian girl and I know you will miss her so much. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.
