Cochran, Kellan Michael
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Kellan Michael Cochran, a beloved husband, father, and brother. Born on May 29, 1983, Kellan left this world on December 15, 2023.
Kellan had many gifts to share. Talented with his hands, he could fix or build anything he set his mind to. Very creative and with a vivid imagination, he was always dreaming of future plans. His beloved Nana told him that he had a heart of pure gold, as he was always the first to offer help and comfort to anyone in need.
Anyone who knew Kellan would agree that he was a man who breathed life into every gathering with his sense of humor and spirited nature. He had a profound love for the natural world, which was reflected by his passion for farming, trees, and animals.
Kellan is survived by his loving wife, Karen Cochran, and their daughter, Kila, who brought immense joy into their family. He is also survived by his daughter Gabriella, whom he loved deeply. Kellan’s brother, Aaron Cochran, and Aaron’s wife, Gillian, mourn his departure alongside his loving grandmother, Barbara Cochran; his aunt, Anne Kiser, her husband, Patrick, and their son, Grayson; and his in-laws, Sam and Jean Stretton, and brother-in-law, Paul Stretton.
Kellan was predeceased by his father, Jack Cochran, Jr., his mother, Louise Wampler, and his grandparents, Jim and Mary Ann Conner, and Jack Cochran, Sr. The memories and love they shared live on in his family.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the Arbor Day Foundation in Kellan’s memory.
We cherish the love and laughter that Kellan shared with us, and his infectious smile, easy going personality, and compassionate spirit will forever resonate in our hearts.
We invite you to join us for a celebration of Kellan’s life at the Floyd Event Center on Sunday, January the 7th at 1:30 p.m. located at 188 Eco Village Trail in Floyd.
Kellan, you will be deeply missed, but never forgotten and always in our hearts.
Thank you for enriching our lives. We love you.
