Christiansburg Man Located Safe

UPDATE: Mr. VanKampen was located safe! The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office is trying to locate a missing 55-year-old man. Chad Mitchell VanKampen was last seen in Christiansburg, VA on December 9th, 2021. Chad has severe mental health issues that pose a risk to himself and possibly others without his medication. He does not have his medication with him. He is missing his pinky finger on his left hand. Chad has noticeable scars on his face and neck, as well as numerous tattoos, including a flame tattoo on one of his arms, that starts at his wrist and goes to his elbow. If you should see Mr. VanKampen, do NOT approach him, call the NRV 911 Center at 540-382-4343.
