Dwight Ruben Bond, age 59 of Max Meadows passed away Sunday, December 7, 2025 in Roanoke. Born December 15, 1965 in Pulaski, he was the son of the late LaHugh Bond, Sr. and Carrie Payne Bond; brother, LaHugh Bond, Jr., Grandparents, George Washington “GW” Bond & Villa Lawson Bond, & Elder Ruben Hasting Payne and Cora Magdeline Payne.

He had been employed by Volvo Trucks.

He is survived by his

Wife – Roberta Duncan Bond – Max Meadows

Sister & Brother-in-law – Jeannie and Tommy Williams – Max Meadows

Brothers-in-Law – Perry Duncan and Jay Martin

Nephews – John and Lena Williams, Brad and Sherry Williams, Adam and Shandy Williams, Travis Bond, Ricky McGlothlin

Nieces – Kelly Williams and Crystal Sexton

Special Great Nieces and Nephews – Lauren, Ashley, Ali, Malachi, Luke, Evie, Henry, Kaizle, Josh, Hannah, Carson, Ava and Ella
