Blacksburg Transit Service Update

Due to forecasted inclement weather, Blacksburg Transit (BT) service will end early on Saturday, January 24 at 6:45 PM.

The last departure from the Transit Center for most routes will be at 6 or 6:15 PM.

The TTT last departure from the Transit Center will be 5:15 PM

The TTT last departure from Uptown Mall will be 5:40 PM

All BT Access trips after 6:45 PM are cancelled.

Christiansburg service is not currently affected.

There will be no BT service in Blacksburg on Sunday, January 25.
All BT Access trips are cancelled.

A decision about service for Monday, January 26 will be made on Sunday evening and will be communicated via Citizens Alert, and will be posted on ridebt.org, Bluesky, Facebook/Instagram, X and the BT App.

Blacksburg Transit will maintain service as long as it is safe to do so. Riders are encouraged to travel only if necessary. Use caution when navigating to bus stops and allow extra time for travel. Delays should be expected in adverse conditions.
