David was self-employed for many years as an indoor/outdoor painter and took much pride in his work. He was later employed in the late 90’s / early 2000’s at Freightliner and Ellison Windows while residing in Lexington, NC, before returning to WV to enjoy Monroe County with his family and friends.

David was a wonderful, kind, caring, and loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather, who loved his family, his friends, his church, and his God. He would do anything asked of him, and was always there for his family. He adored his grandkids, he loved to travel, to eat good food, and to have great fellowship.
