Arrest Made in Solicitation of a Minor 4On Thursday, February 22, 2024 officers with the Blacksburg Police Department served a search warrant at a residence in the 300 block of Washington Street, SW pursuant to an ongoing investigation. During the search of the residence, officers located 21-year-old Seth Gregory Rittler, who was taken into custody.

Rittler is charged with four counts of violating § 18.2-374.3 Code of Virginia, “Use of a communications system to facilitate certain offenses involving children.” Rittler is being held in the Montgomery County Jail with no bond.
