Addison, Stanley Edward

Stanley E. Addison, age 73, passed away on Monday April 27, 2026, at the Bowers Hospice House in Beckley, WV. Born June 10, 1952, he was the son of the late Edward K. and Lorraine H. Wimmer Addison.

Stanley was a contractor and had his own construction company, Addison Construction. He attended the United Church of God in Roanoke, VA, where he was baptized on 3/16/2016. He loved the outdoors, especially hunting, fishing, and looking for rocks and arrowheads. Stanley was good man who will be missed by all who knew him.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his nephew, Timothy Addison. Those left to cherish his memory include his brother, Matt Addison and wife Terri of Peterstown, WV; niece, Angelina Martin and husband Tony of Pembroke, VA; his girlfriend, Bonnie Harrah; special grandchildren, Alex and Clay; and several extended family members and many friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00PM on Monday, May 4, 2026, at the Broyles-Shrewsbury Funeral Home in Peterstown, WV, with Pastor Joe Greene officiating. Visitation will be held from 11:00AM until time of services on Monday at the funeral home. In keeping with Stanley’s wishes, he will be cremated following the services.
