Bane, Timothy Lee

Timothy Lee Bane, 63, of Pearisburg, VA, passed away Wednesday, September 30, 2026 at his home. He was born March 11, 1963 in Pearisburg, VA, the son of the late Lewis & Bernice Handy Bane.

Tim was a simple but stubborn man who loved to work. He was always tinkering on things and loved being outdoors. He enjoyed taking camping trips with his family.

He was a hard worker and provider for his family. He worked in the coal mines and as an exterminator when he was younger. He worked as a mechanic and in realty. He worked for Giles Community Hospital for over 30 years in maintenance.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lewis Thomas, Sr. & Bernice Irene Handy Bane, his grandson, Easton Bowles and his sister & brother-in-law, Bonnie & Danny Talbert.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 29 yrs, Judy Albert Bane; his daughters & son-in-law, Olivia Marie Bane & Jeremy Spicer and Savanah Nicole & Mark Slaughhenhoupt; his beloved grandchildren, Maverick Andrew Warden, Ensley Raine Bowles and Daxton Lee Spicer; his siblings, Tommy Bane, Patti & Donnie Woodyard and Linda & Ray Gill; his best friend, Jamie Burton; and several nieces and nephews.

Per his wishes, he will be cremated. There are no public services planned.
