8/1: Paper Assembly House Grand Opening

A new independent stationery and gift shop is opening on Main St in Radford. Paper Assembly House, located at 225 W. Main Street, will celebrate its grand opening on Saturday, August 1, from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., welcoming the community to explore a thoughtfully curated collection of paper goods, books, gifts, and products from independent designers and artists.

The celebration will begin with a 10:00 a.m. ribbon cutting in partnership with the Radford Chamber of Commerce, followed by a full day of grand opening festivities. Visitors can browse greeting cards, journals, stationery, books, candles, art prints, self-care products, locally made goods, and unique gifts while enjoying complimentary treats from local businesses, available while supplies last.

Grand opening weekend activities include:

Ribbon Cutting with the Radford Chamber of Commerce at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 1
Free Paper Assembly House tote bags for the first 20 customers who make a purchase on August 1
A gift card giveaway on August 1 and 2, with one entry earned for every $10 spent. Prizes include one $50 gift card and two $20 gift cards. Winners will be announced Monday, August 3.

Paper Assembly House was created to celebrate the simple act of giving, whether that’s finding the perfect greeting card, discovering a new favorite author, or choosing a thoughtful gift for someone special… or maybe just a gift for yourself. The shop features products from independent designers and artists across the country, including many from Virginia, with an emphasis on creativity, craftsmanship, and meaningful connection.

As more people embrace authenticity and intentional living, interest in letter writing, journaling, and thoughtful gift giving continues to grow. Paper Assembly House plans to help fill that need.
