A Specialist Jewelry Buying Event, Hosted at Kent Jewelers from September 21-26, 2026. Rothschild Trading Company invites Blacksburg, Christiansburg, and the New River Valley to bring in fine jewelry, diamonds, colored gemstones, gold, silver, and coins for a free, no-obligation evaluation by specialists who assess the whole piece, not just its weight. “We don’t pay what it weighs. We pay what it is worth.”

Most buying events price by metal weight alone. At Rothschild Trading, every item brought to the Blacksburg event will be evaluated individually. Diamonds will be graded, colored stones identified and assessed, craftsmanship and provenance taken into account. Because we find a home for material at every tier, we can offer more than a buyer who is only interested in melting it.
